Description
The Hobart FD4/150-1 Food Waste Disposer allows commercial kitchens to efficiently process food waste to keep sinks clean and clear. This disposer features a 1-1/2 horsepower motor equipped with a manual reset option, all encased in a durable iron housing to protect it and ensure long-lasting use. The waste disposer comes with an abrasion-resistant cast iron shredder ring with 40 teeth. The flywheel rotates in both directions to offer dual-direction grinding and maximum versatility.
The Hobart FD4/150-1 Food Waste Disposer has been engineered to withstand the rigors of high-volume commercial use. Stainless steel legs with flanged feet support the disposer’s housing, and the motor’s shaft is sealed with a spring-loaded carbon insert and neoprene bellows to protect it from chemicals, grit, and fibers.
