The Manitowoc IDT-1200N R Remote Cooled Cuber Head is designed for users with ice critical to their business. The intelligent and quick response preventive diagnostics on the machine ensure reliable ice production. The entire exterior is made of stainless steel and has the DuraTech® corrosion-resistant technology coating. The coating is also resistant to fingerprints and dirt which makes it low on maintenance. It has the LuminIce® II Growth Inhibitor mechanism that effectively controls the growth of bacteria and yeast within the Food Zone, keeping the machine safe to use and cleaner for a long period of time.
Displaying the operational status is the new indicator inside the control display that helps users stay updated. With an average of 5% less energy consumption and 22% reduction in condenser water usage, the cuberhead delivers much better performance than other ice making heads available in the market. With the icon-based easyTouch® touchscreen display technology, the unit is much easier to operate and provides more accuracy in temperature adjustment. The machine can be programmed by daily ice production volume to maintain consistency. It has a hinged front door that swings out, allowing easy access to users. The FoodZone also has a removable water-trough, water probe, curtain, distribution tube, and water pump that ensure efficient and fast cleaning.
Some of the components of this ice maker are made using the AlphaSan® antimicrobial technology. The patented Acoustical Ice Sensing Probe technology on the unit allows reliable operation in challenging water conditions. It can approximately produce 1,127 lb. of ice in 24 hours.
