Power
This unit features a reversing, 1-1/4 HP motor with a 1725 RPM maximum speed. The motor’s double-seal design and permanently lubricated ball bearings ensure long and efficient life.
The unit operates on a 208-230V/60Hz/3-Ph electrical configuration and requires a hardwire connection.
Construction
This unit is constructed of a heavy-duty aluminum housing.
Specifications
This disposer features a 4-1/4″ throat size and connects to a standard 1-1/2″ drain trap. It is capable of a 3 GPM output with a 1/2″ water inlet connection.
Product Features
Breaker blade, mounted at center, speeds grinding, prevents objects from “riding” at center.
Two hardened stainless steel cutter blocks (fastened to flywheel with nylock screws) are replaceable, can be indexed for new cutting edges.
Ni-Resist flywheel is 6-3/8″ diameter, slots undercut the shredder ring to assure that particles are cut to proper size before passing to the drain line.
Tight tolerance in the cutting mechanism allows for approximately 1/8″ (3.175 mm) or less of waste to pass through to sanitary.
Thermal overload prevents motor burnout and features a manual reset.
