Description
This one compartment electric Slo Cook & Hold Oven has a 40 lb capacity. It’s made of 20 gauge stainless steel with 2 stainless side racks and shelves and 1 stainless drip pan with a drain. There’s a capacity for 4 full size pans. You have the option of timed cooking, which allows for several foods being cooked concurrently in the same oven, or probed cooking, which is the preferable way to ensure the proper internal temperature of expensive cuts of meat while not over-cooking them. Halo Heat, which hovers stationary rather than moving around the cavity, prevents the spreading of flavors while keeping your foods warm. There’s an ON/OFF key for the entire unit, and a lock-out feature. All the functions of this unit have corresponding indicator lights so you’ll know they’re in use, and temperature control keys. The cooking temperature range is 200-325 F. The probe temperature range is from 50-195 F, and the holding temperature range is from 60-205 F. There are also 8 programmable menu keys for storing cooking instructions and simplifying the cooking process. Being designed with EcoSmart technology makes this an energy efficient product. The unit has a stackable design which can save space in a crowded commercial kitchen, or it can rest on the 3-1/2 inch casters provided. Two of them are rigid, and two swivel with brakes. Oven hoods, outside vents and fire extinguishers are not required for this oven in most areas because outside emissions of grease laden air are less than UL established standards. Specifications
