It’s designed to take accurate temperature measurements while roasting meats, poultry, and other items. Featuring a durable stainless steel housing and shatterproof lens, the thermometer can withstand temperatures between 0°F and 220°F. The thermometer has a 5″ stem and a sheath that can be used as a handle extension. The red area of the scale indicates the bacteria “Danger Zone”. This dial thermometer can be used on stovetops and in conventional and microwave ovens. The food-safe thermometer is easy to recalibrate, thanks to a built-in wrench on a sheath. A pocket clip comes included with the thermometer, as well.
