There’s no doubt that saving steps in the hectic world of a restaurant kitchen is a good idea, and that’s what’s provided by this 15 cubic foot Sandwich Prep Table. Both its interior and exterior are made of stainless steel, with a heavy duty 16 gauge work top surface. Two and a half inches of polyurethane foam insulation cover the unit. The slide-out condenser is back-mounted and can be simply removed for cleaning and maintenance. The table is front-vented, so it can be built in to a counter top. R-134A refrigerant is used with the system. The air defrost is electrically controlled. The doors have recessed handles with rounded corners. Frame heaters prevent the build-up of condensation. An epoxy coated wire shelf is provided for each section. The Mega Top prep area holds twenty-four sanitary PVC 1/6 size pans in three rows across its top. Its lid is covered with 1/2 inch thick insulation. There’s also a sanitary 8 inch x 1/2 inch cutting board that’s removable and adjustable. The ideal temperature range of 33 to 41F is set and adjusted with an analog thermostat. The table rests on four casters, two of them with locking brakes.
