This prep table boasts a stainless steel top, front, sides, and doors, as well as an aluminum lining inside to prevent corrosion and rust. This 48″ table features a worktop with (18) 1/6 polycarbonate plastic pans. These pans are recessed at 2″ from the top to ensure uniform airflow throughout so that your ingredients stay cold and fresh. There are locking divider bars to make sure that the pans do not shift out of place, and a pan liner prevents food spillage and leakage. There’s even an insulated hood to cover the pans, helping to lock in freshness and maintain an ideal temperature. With help from a 10″ cutting board, this table provides a large and stable prepping surface so that two chefs can work at the same time.
The Beverage-Air SPE48HC-18M Mega-Top Sandwich Prep Table features two (2) doors with two (2) epoxy-coated wire shelves each to accommodate food pans easily. Cartridge-style door hinges prevent sagging and can withstand excess weight while loading/unloading products. These self-closing doors come with a stay-open feature up to 120° which is perfect for times when your hands are full. With a fully electronic control system, you can monitor the cabinet temperature from 36°F to 38°F, as well. For maximum efficiency and temperature retention, the unit uses CFC- and HCFC-free R290 refrigerant system. Its 6″ swivel casters allow you to move the table easily when it’s time to get it serviced.
