For flexible storage options, the freezer is equipped with a stainless steel floor and two adjustable, PVC-coated shelves. The 12-inch handle on the cabinet door, designed to be recessed, enhances convenience and aisle space efficiency. Moreover, the unit’s mobility is facilitated by 5-inch castors, allowing easy movement for thorough cleaning underneath.
Internally, the cabinet is lined with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, effectively trapping cold air and maintaining a consistent temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit through the capillary tube system using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The condenser and evaporator fan motors ensure even air distribution throughout the cabinet, contributing to optimal performance.
Designed with practicality in mind, the True TUC-27F-HC features a slide-out condensing unit, providing convenient access from the back for maintenance purposes. Additionally, the condensing fan motor operates in reverse for 20 seconds when the compressor starts, effectively clearing dirt, dust, and debris from the condensing coil to enhance efficiency. Regular preventive maintenance for the coil is essential to ensure the unit operates at peak performance.
